Catherine Greenberg, our dedicated HR Coordinator at Lake Forest Church, has been a beacon of faith and service since joining our staff in 2007. Catherine plays a pivotal role in our shared services team, working closely with staff from our entire Family of Churches, as well as The Learning Tree.
Returning to North Carolina in 1998 with her husband Jeff and their two children, Catherine found a spiritual home in Lake Forest Church. She and her family were baptized here in February of 2007 and soon after she was hired on as Youth Ministry Assistant. Her children are now grown and she has 2 beautiful grands she gets to enjoy regularly. But she is enjoying her and Jeff’s time as empty-nesters for sure!
Catherine has had multiple roles since starting at LFC but found her sweet spot in HR in 2018. Her role as HR Coordinator is not just administrative; it’s a ministry of compassion and understanding. Her discernment and mercy are evident in her interactions with staff and church members alike. Her faith guides her in all her endeavors, making her an invaluable asset to our church community.
Outside of church Catherine enjoys painting furniture, spending time with her family, binge-watching interesting shows and hanging with friends. We are truly blessed to have Catherine as part of our Lake Forest Church family.
